Our story

Seniors and their families often must downsize or pare down a lifetime's worth of possessions and heirlooms just to make a longtime home safer or prepare to move. Seniors often need help with a housing transition; something families sometimes can't provide, especially during a crisis. 

After moving his mother 4 times, John saw the tremendous need for specialized movers in the senior community.  He founded Senior Relocation Services to meet that need. Senior Relocation Services has extensive experience in doing the physical move for families when  downsizing--from an assessment of what will fit into the new home to assisting in final set up--making the  move less stressful. We are aware of Relocation Trauma and are mindful of it during the whole process. Our movers are compassionate and trained in how to work with folks transitioning into everything from independent living to memory care. We work with many communities, giving us the knowledge to ensure a smooth transition. 

Comfort and familiarity is our goal. Services include organizing, packing/unpacking, developing floor plans, home staging and more. We will also take care of the move for you, eliminating that extra step.
